The conference will be a conglomeration of researchers of International and national eminence from >30 countries and will continue for 3 days (28-30th January, 2020). It will have 10 themes (listed below) out of which 8 themes are based on basic and applied research. The conference will cover the recent developments in the fields of biotechnology, next generation breeding and efficient management practices of potato cultivation under the scenario of climate change and these areas will be discussed threadbare during the day. The management strategies for potato pests and diseases as well as post harvest loss will also be discussed by giving the special attention to the potato values addition. The conference will have special emphasis on potato trade, value chain management and policy issues, which will be covered under the remaining two themes. The conclave will have eminent scientists from global potato research community and approximately 70 speakers from globally acclaimed research organizations will deliver lectures on various aspects related to potato.
